Dear Frost Families,
As we approach spring, we wanted to provide an update on the 8th graduation ceremony. We are excited to announce that this year’s event will be held from 10:30 – 11:30 am on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Wintrust Field, also known as the Schaumburg Boomers Stadium.
In order to accommodate all families, we will be limiting each family to six tickets. Students will sit on the field with their classmates, while families will sit in the stands. In the event of rain, we will hold our graduation ceremony on Monday, June 3, at 8:00 pm at Conant High School. Either way, the last day of school for eighth-grade students will be Friday, May 31. District 211 summer school classes start on June 3 and we want to ensure our eighth-graders can participate in those classes.
A livestream of the event will be posted to the District 54 YouTube Channel for individuals who are unable to be there that day. All students’ names will be read during the ceremony, whether or not they attend.
In order to create a memorable experience, we would like to start by asking you to complete the quick Graduation Ceremony Survey sent in an email on 2/8/24. Please complete this survey by Monday, April 1, 2024, to determine which students will be participating and how many tickets you will need.
If your child is participating in the ceremony at Wintrust Field, they will be asked to order a gown in our school colors. Please see previous Community Emails for gown ordering procedures.
