Confidentiality is important to the counseling process. Students and adults who work with the social workers/psychologist must feel that their concerns are being held in confidence. However, state law does mandate that parents/guardians will be notified if a student’s health and/or safety are a concern.

Robert Frost Junior High School’s guidance department consists of a seventh- and eighth-grade social worker, guidance counselor and a school psychologist. The guidance program is designed to serve the academic, social and emotional needs of all students.

How can you make use of the guidance program at Frost?
- Students can pick up a request form down the guidance hallway.
- Students can fill out a request form online on the Frost Google Classroom.
- A staff member may refer a student.
- Parents can call the guidance department.
