Posted Thursday, May 10th, 2012 by Mr. Behrouzi

Students in Mr. C’s Science classes have been working hard researching different forms of alternative energy and how these forms of clean energy would benefit a city such as Schaumburg and/or a school like Frost. We are taking our new-found knowledge and creating Glogs (online interactive posters) to be published on the web! Students will present their glogs to their classes and we will use our research to reccomend specific types of clean energy for Schaumburg or Frost.
Stay tuned in next week to see all student glogs on Mr. C.’s website! Students will also be writing persuasive letters to Ms. Davidson or Ms. Mussman (our local state representative).

Miss Griffin is working with students in FROST SHIELD to discuss issues in bullying and to create a positive atmosphere for all students. A quote SHIELD lives by is, “If you don’t stand for something right, you’ll fall for something wrong.” Today they made “Warm Fuzzies.” This is a fun way to spread positivity and to raise self-esteem.
