Frost Community Garden

Posted Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 by Ms. Davidson

Frost Families,

I am excited to report that Home Depot has donated labor, plants, and materials to help Frost create a community garden! This is a rare opportunity for our students, staff, and families to participate in the development and maintenance of a garden using the CAN Grant money awarded to us by the Campanelli YMCA. If you would like to assist some of our students, staff, and Home Depot volunteers with the construction of the garden this Thursday, April 26th, please contact the Frost office at (847) 357-6800 for more information. Thank you for helping us support the Children, Activity, Nutrition Initiative.

Have a great day!

On Saturday, March 31, 2012, from 8:30-9:30 p.m. we are being asked to turn off non-essential lights for one hour. This is a global event organized by the World Wildlife Fund (link below). District 54 will turn off all unnecessary outside lights in support of this event.

Parent Conferences Thursday and Friday

Posted Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 by Ms. Davidson

The Frost staff is looking forward to meeting with you during your Parent-Teacher Conference time this Thursday or Friday. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to connect with your child’s academic progress this year at Frost. Our format will be similar to our Fall conferences, and our students and staff have been preparing all week to provide you with the most updated information about your child’s academic goals. Please leave yourself a little extra time to browse and enjoy our PTA Book Fair that will be open at Frost during conferences. This is an excellent way to help support our Frost PTA funded programs and supplement your child’s home library.
Thank you in advance for your support!
