Thank you to the wonderful PTA, parents, students and staff that donated items to the Frost Clothing Drive. It was a great success! The Frost Student Leaders packed 27 boxes of clothing items that were donated to the District 54 Clothing Closet. It truly shows what an amazing and thoughtful community we have at Frost.

Frost Varsity Wrestling team went 8-0 this year capturing 1st place in conference for the 3rd straight year. In the last three years, Frost has only lost 1 match at the varsity level.

The Math 810 students are teaching Mrs. Leong, Mrs. Corriveau, and Ms. Sommers how to make cheese sandwiches today! They have to tell their teachers what steps they need to make the sandwich and why they need to do those steps. It got a little messy, but we ended up with great explanations and sandwiches! YUM!

In Ms. Fewer and Ms. Wood’s resource class, we have been focusing on getting ready for ISAT by reviewing test taking strategies and honing our extended response skills. The students have been exhibiting wonderful effort! We also turned the classroom into a museum and have been practicing the 6 reading strategies using fine art as visual “texts”.

The Frost Varsity team is undefeated (3-0) beating their opponents by an average of 73 points. The JV team is 2-1 with their only loss coming due to unfortunate circumstances of missing wrestlers. They only lost that match by 1 point and have dominated the other two opponents.

7th grade Language Arts graded two types of chocolate chip cookies using a rubric. This helped students see the benefits of looking at a rubric before an assignment and how opinions need to be kept out of scoring!
